Doctors at our clinic will still evaluate you. It is understandable that some patients have no medical history or simply cannot locate their medical records.

Depending on your situation, our physicians may offer you a temporary recommendation with conditions that you must meet within a specified time-frame.
Generally, this is rare. If you receive a temporary recommendation, you will not have to pay again when you return to get a full recommendation.
You will be required to bring medical records at your next appointment to continue your medical recommendation (you will be able to purchase medical cannabis after your first evaluation appointment). We will try to advise you on the type of medical professional you should go to. (e.g chiropractor, sports med, or appropriate specialist for your medical condition). We will also supply you with a list of free clinics in Orange County.
All of our medical evaluations are conducted by a California-licensed physician with over 25 years of medical experience.
During the initial visit, our licensed physicians will spending time examining medical history, performing a physical exam and determining the best medication for his or her condition, with regard to alternative medicine.
Although you will be medically evaluated by a CA licensed physician, the employees of Open Care’s Orange County Medical Clinic, including physician’s assistants, nurses, and other staff are not physicians and do not practice medicine or dispense any medical advice. The staff here to support and help physicians administer a clinic.

No. We consider your privacy to be of the utmost importance. We follow strict HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy. All patient records and discussions are kept in the strictest confidentiality.
The information between you and our office, as with any physician’s practice, is completely confidential. The only time we would release any information about you is if a dispensary or club calls to verify that you are a valid patient of our office, or if a law enforcement agent calls to verify that you are a valid patient.
In these instances, they would ask us if the medical recommendation is valid, and what the expiration date of the recommendation is. They would not be provided with any other additional information about you such as your actual diagnosis.
It is not our policy to report or turn in any lists of names to any agency state or federal agency.
